LAFLA Website, Southern California
About LAFLA: The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles is a non-profit law firm providing non-criminal advocacy, advice, community services and representation to LA's poor people.
Project: In 2000, LAFLA had no internet presence or staff intranet. The company also required new branding that aligned with its strategic objectives.
Solution: Create new branding and corporate colours to be used on all online and print colateral. Produced website that:
- outlined services and neighbourhood offices
- provided emergency legal advice
- encouraged and enabled donors to contribute online
Also designed, built and implemented staff intranet.
Outcome: Logo and branding still in use. Website still structured and operating on original content strategy.
My role: As Independent Producer, I assembled design and programming team; liaised with client; managed project including proposals and budget; developed content strategy; wrote and edited content; launched and assisted with ongoing maintenance.
