Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), Western Australia
About CAHS: The Child and Adolescent Health Service delivers statewide paediatric health care and services via the Community Health Service and WA’s tertiary paediatric hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
Project: In 2008, the CAHS public website needed immediate rebranding, restructuring and redesigning to comply with accessibility, WA Health and State Government standards.
Solution: Complete overhaul of the CAHS site within three months to provide information for:
- parents: locations, services, health issues
- health professionals: career, clinical, educational
Outcome: Met recommendations and received high praise at CAHS' 2008 Australian Council on Healthcare Standards Periodic Review, part of the mandatory Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program.
My role: As Web Services Manager, I developed the content strategy; liaised with stakeholders; managed rebuild, migration, art direction and launch.
