Curtin Business School Website, Western Australia
About CBS: As a division of Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia, Curtin Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various business specialties to international, Australian and local students.
Project: Between 2003 and 2006, the CBS public website was the main marketing tool and source of course information and needed to reflect the School's world-class excellence.
Solution: Complete redesign of the CBS website incorporating:
- modern, vibrant, youthful design
- user-tested navigation and structure
- useful, relevant information for all audiences, such as career/course section aimed at year 12 students
- upgrade to content management system (CMS), FarCry to enable distributed authoring and publishing model
Outcome: Helped increase first-preference enrolments and delivered on all KPIs. Much of the original content I wrote is still current.
My role: As Online Editor, I developed content strategy; wrote and edited content; liaised with stakeholders and managed internal web contributors; assisted creating and implementing marketing and branding strategies.
